The first item we did it's that we evaluated the Citizen journalism and discuss it by whole class.

The second item we scanned the stomp website.

This was the first time I visited this web. it's shock me.
It's a really example of citizen journalism.
people could say and write down whatever they want in this website.
We could put photo and video.
Some news in stomp, you would nv see it on TV or newspaper.
But, the website still got rules which user should follow. Like we can't put politics's comments or porn.

Compare Wiki with stomp. Wiki tends to be more formal. Wiki is supposed to be put technical and academic information. And their purpose is different. stomp aims to entertain people. But wiki is trying to provide the reference and knowledge for people. And, wiki users gets more freedom than stomp. Wiki users could put and delete whatever they wanna.
For my own experience, I go wiki for research or study, and I go stomp to find some fun.
